The Beauty of a Mother's Love

The weekend is over! :( We had a great weekend here. The weather was really nice and the kids got to play outside a lot. Yesterday Troy took the girls to the park. Troy and I celebrated our 7th wedding anniversary on Sunday. I can't believe that 7 years have passed already!

I have been dealing with a horrible cold for the past couple of days. Last night I had a horrible time sleeping. Hopefully soon it will pass.

I created this birdhouse for my Mom's birthday on the 4th of June. I had a lot of fun making it. Again, this is from Michaels dollar section and covered in mostly Melissa Frances supplies. Gotta love those! I also made her small box that has a little album in it of my kids. I hope she likes everything!

I hope everyone has a good day!

The weekend is here!

The weekend is here! The girls are done with preschool and the summer is starting! I am excited to have the kids here all day this summer. The weather is pretty gloomy here today. Hopefully things start to clear up so we can get outside. Just a little card I made this week. I hope everyone has a wonderful Memorial Weekend!

Thankful

Today is the girls last day of preschool for the year. Ava wasn't too thrilled with it being over. I think she is a little worried about going to kindergarten. A new school, new friends, and new teachers. I think that she will do just fine. So many changes ahead for her, which I'm sure she will handle very well.
On Tuesday, we received a wonderful gift from one of Ava's classmates. It was such a neat surprise and we are so thankful. I created this card for his parents. I used the packaging from the Melissa Frances page kit to hand cut out the flowers.

Growing Up

Here is a recent layout that I did of my oldest daughter, Ava. She just turned 5. I can't believe how fast time has gone. She will be starting kindergarten in the fall and I'm not sure I'm prepared for it. I feel like she was just born and although I'm very scared to not have her with me all day, I'm very excited for her.

Recent Creations

I created these for my daughter's teacher's for their end of school gift. I used mostly Melissa Frances products. All of the flowers are hand cut and topped with buttons and flowers and vintage piano paper. I really enjoyed creating everything and they will be hard to part with. I will give one to each of my daughter's teachers. Thanks for looking!
